Trench Lines post shave balm
The idea for this release came from one of my razor sets, the Gillette Khaki set. It was issued to troops in the Army in World War 1 (WWI). I have collected a few sets now, but the one that gave me the inspiration was issued in 1918. With Memorial Day right around the corner, I thought it would be an amazing release. To showcase the brave men and women of the military. Some of which gave everything and perished defending Freedom!
When you look at the Gillette Khaki set, in the top right corner It should say Property of US Army. That means the set was issued to a soldier. If the set say Property of USA, then the set was released to civilians in an effort to support the military efforts.
Each set is stamped with a serial number. Gillette used the serial numbers to date code their razors.
1918 dates codes are: E449208-J7344 Plus F/G/H (no I) J Series all U.S. military
1919 dates codes are: J7345-K927216 J Series all U.S. military
The scent is homage to the exquisite cologne of Lacoste White. Scent notes of Grapefruit, Rosemary and Cardamom; Ylang-Ylang, Tuberose; Suede, Virginia Cedar, Leather and Vetiver.
The label was designed by renowned designer Jonathan Landstrom. He is a traditional shaver, and very creative graphic designer. The label art is of a WW1 helmet. Just amazing work!
We've realized that the post shave needs some extra love and care. These balms are great additions to your shave.
What's the big deal anyway?
As we release a new shave scent this balm will be added to the line up. Unscented balm available too!
Hyaluronic acid- This non-comedogenic will not clog your pores. In fact, it is the super power in the balm that helps hydrate your skin, and bring all the other goodness of the balm deep down into the skin.
Jojoba oil - Pronounced HoHoba, this oil is a humectant so it helps seal the skin so it doesn't lose moisture. This in conjunction with the hyaluronic acid make a great duo. Jojoba is also non-comedogenic.
See the theme? This balm gets into your skin, wont clog it, and then keeps the moisture packed in!
After you use the 345 aftershave, let it dry down for a minute then apply the balm. Scoop a small amount of balm with a finger, then place it in your palm. Rub your hands together and apply to your freshly shaved area!
With the upgraded Deus Vult base shave soap, upgraded rejuvenating aftershave, and now the extreme hydrating balm it will complete your shave and have your skin feeling refreshed!
2 ounces in a bottle, with a treatment pump. Just a dab will do; think less is more.
